Fake Certificate Rackets Thriving
"We found as many as 3,500 such fake certificates belonging to various institutions in their possession. Two institutions offering distance education courses have approved the educational trust they were running. They, however, claimed they had the approval from other institutions as well,"
The trust offered fake certificates in BA, BCom, BBA, MBA, BCA, BTech and MTech degrees, among others. Most fake certificates were of North Indian universities.
It was a well-entrenched racket that doled out fake degree certificates for a fee ranging from Rs5,000 to Rs25,000.

Fake Certificate issuing institute women gets caught on pen camera, institute located in Dr. Raj Kumar Road in Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore. She never meets the candidate in person but arranges degree from Magadh University. It was true that the name mentioned in the certificate correct, but the candidate was already expired years back. Dead certificate is the proof.

40 degrees and provisional certificates issued in the name of a Bihar university have been found to be fake, officials said Tuesday.
Officials of Magadh University in Gaya were stunned to find the fake papers.
About 9,000 recruitment centres across the state had received more than 10 million applications for 93,000 teaching posts in the second phase of recruitment in 2009. Later, the government sacked 15,000 teachers for submitting fake degrees and certificates.
